3T Aerobars

The 3T Ventus is an Aero Bar which comes in both carbon and team forms. The Team version has Olympic and Tour de France pedigree, being 3T's signature time-trial bar, using advanced composite engineering that derives from Formula 1 racing !

It has extremely thin wings, with a minimal design throughout with aerodynamically integrated stem, probably the lightest aerobar in the world. Also, it has independent height adjustability so that the extensions move with the elbow pads.

The grips, although integrated are also replaceable and there is a good choice of extensions, giving the Ventus a standard in aerobar design not met by many other manufacturers.

If you need an entry level time-trial bar that still uses much of the technology of higher priced aerobars, then the 3T Mistral is a contender. Most of the main construction is from carbon fibre composites with alloy used for the extensions and mounts. Great attention has been given to comfort in the riding position, with the ability to use 16 different positions of the elbow pads on the base bar. This should give maximum compatability with a large number of riders of different physiques.

The Mistral complies with UCI form factor rules and is legal in any UCI event.
It comes in at a weight of 727g, using a clamp diameter of 31.8mm.

This aerobar is designed for triathlon and time triallers who want the performance and sophistication of a top level carbon bar, without so many restrictions on the types stem that can be used. As a result, riders can mount the 3T Brezza on their own preferred choice of stem.

As you might expect at this price point, the Brezza allows a full range of adjustment for different cyclists of different shapes. In terms of design and appearance, you'll see that the aerofoil section of the base bar is slightly different compared to the Ventus, being a bit narrower and deeper, which copes better with different wind directions.

The bar weighs 510g, at a width of 40cm.

In style and price, this carbon based aerobar is quite similar to the Mistral, but the main difference of the 3T Aura is the weight, which is significantly reduced at 598g as a result of a simplified design and top mounted extension clamps.

The compromise is that you can't get as many elbow rest positions with the 3T Auro aerobar. It has standard S extensions, which can be substituted for any other 3T extensions and it also complies with UCI rules, so can be used in Pro races. Widths are available in 40cm and 42cm.

This is fundamentally a road-racer's aerobar, in that it has a combination of drops, aerodynamic base bar and extensions, which gives great adaptability if you want to vary positions on long road races. In effect it is a hybrid.

The bends are medium drop with variable radius on an aero wing that comes from the Mistral bar, with an adjustable forward extension aerofoil shaped Pi Wing handrest. The combination allows rider's arms and hands to fall into natural positions on the basebar top and the handrest respectively, to give long distance comfortable riding positions, whether used in pro competition, sportives, century or triathlon rides.

It is also very light at a weight of 510g, at a width of 42cm and bar diameter at 31.8mm. Drop is 128mm with a reach of 89mm.
